Cheese Flapjack Recipe

Here is the incredibly popular cheese flapjack recipe – even my dairy hating daughter will eat these!  You can hid vegetables and seeds in them too!

  1. 2 eggs

  2. 50g melted butter

  3. 150g porridge oats

  4. 150g cheddar cheese

  5. 1 large carrot

  6. 1 tbsp seeds (sunflower, sesame, pumpkin)

Preheat the oven to 180C.

  1. Line a baking tray or brownie tray.

  2. Put the oats in a mixing bowl with the melted butter.

  3. Add the seeds, cheese, eggs and carrot.

  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared tray and flatten with the back of a spoon.

  5. Cook for 25-30 minutes until golden.

  6. Allow to cool in the tin before slicing.
